Adorned on the front with an integrated compass at the center and applied insects (often in amber, mother-of-pearl, colored enamels, etc.) in Shibayama style, referring to a Japanese decorative technique developed during the Edo period (1603-1868) and named after Shibayama Senzo, an artist renowned for popularizing this method. 30.30g gross weight.
