Cigarette case In 925 silver with rectangular form. Mirror-polished smooth finish, enhanced on the front with a white enameled border, framed by a second blue border and adorned with applied insects and centipedes (often in amber, mother-of-pearl, colored enamels, etc) in Shibayama style, referencing a Japanese decorative technique developed during the Edo period (1603-1868) and named after Shibayama Senzo, an artist renowned for popularizing this method.
