Cigarette case In 925 silver and rectangular form. Smooth mirror polished, enhanced on the front with a blue enameled border and adorned with applied Shibayama-style insects (often in amber, mother-of-pearl, colored enamels, etc) in Shibayama style, referring to a Japanese decorative technique developed during the Edo period (1603-1868) and named after Shibayama Senzo, an artist renowned for popularizing this method.
