Description

Cigarette case In 950 silver with rectangular form. Enhanced on the front with an engraving depicting flowers in a bamboo planter and the Japanese signature of the silversmith, Masatoshi. On the reverse, the engraved signature of its owner, Nobusuke Kishi (1896-1987), former Japanese Minister of Commerce and Industry from 1941 to 1945 and Prime Minister from 1957 to 1960. Smooth mirror-polished interior. Half-and-half hinged lid. Release button. Retention elastics, formed of worked oval silver links. 8.8cm x 9.50cm. 120.40g. Maker: Masatoshi, Japan.
