Description

Cigarette case In 925 silver and rectangular in form. Enhanced on the front with a blue enamelled "sunburst" guilloché pattern in Art Deco style, adorned at its center with a circular medallion decorated with three applied insects (often in amber, mother-of-pearl, colored enamels, etc.) in Shibayama style, referencing a Japanese decorative technique developed during the Edo period (1603-1868) and named after Shibayama Senzo, an artist renowned for popularizing this method.
