Cigarette case In 925 silver and octagonal form. Smooth mirror polish and adorned on the front with applied insects (often in amber, mother-of-pearl, colored enamels, etc.) in Shibayama style, referring to a Japanese decorative technique developed during the Edo period (1603-1868) and bearing the name of Shibayama Senzo, an artist renowned for popularizing this method.
