Enhanced on the front of the lid with chased scrollwork in Art Nouveau style, and on the case body with applied insects (often in amber, mother-of-pearl, colored enamels, etc.) in Shibayama style, referencing a Japanese decorative technique developed during the Edo period (1603-1868) and named after Shibayama Senzo, an artist renowned for popularizing this method. 30.50gr.
